My first work. Classic English crime with a twist, set in the remote village of Great Tew in Oxfordshire immediately following World War One. The Ghosts of Passchendaele was inspired by an astonishing true story I stumbled over in the archives of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
Two more followed. They all feature the same eccentric cast of characters, and a tricky murder to solve, but the real star is the ancient and atmospheric countryside that surrounds the village.
